Riverfront Park tickets & upcoming events

Riverfront Park in Salem is one of those hidden gems where history and fun collide. It’s a place that’s not just about sitting on benches and soaking up the view, though honestly, those views of the Willamette River are pretty spectacular, it's got some pretty cool stories to tell. For example, back in 2012, the park hosted the Oregon International Film Festival’s outdoor screening, drawing over 2,000 locals who snuggled up on blankets to watch local documentaries under the open sky. It’s also a spot that cares about community, remember the firefighters’ remembrance event in 2014? Yeah, that’s where they honored brave firefighters from around the state, really pulling at your heartstrings. And if you’re a tech geek or just like charging your phone while wandering, you’ll love the solar-powered charging stations installed in 2019, because who doesn’t want their device juiced up without hunting for an outlet? The park’s layout is pretty friendly too, just follow the waterway pathway south from the technical institute or head east from the municipal parking. Whether you're catching a concert, chilling in the communal seating area, or enjoying the close-up stage seats, there’s something for everyone. Plus, the seating chart helps you pick the perfect spot, whether you want front-row excitement or a cozy VIP vibe. Honestly, visiting Riverfront Park feels like a local adventure waiting to happen, and trust me, those best seats are just a few clicks away.
